Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him (1 John 2:15).
For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? (Matthew 16:26).
Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah (Psalm 4:4).
